W\u00e4hrend dieser Zeit hatte ich die Gelegenheit, ein sechsmonatiges Praktikum in Noum\u00e9a, Neukaledonien, und weitere sechs Monate am Universit\u00e4tskrankenhaus Stra\u00dfburg (CHU) zu absolvieren. Letzteres erm\u00f6glichte es mir, als Oberarzt in die Abteilung von Professor Jean-Fran\u00e7ois Kempf, meinem Mentor, einzutreten. Er trug ma\u00dfgeblich dazu bei, dass ich mich in die wundersch\u00f6ne Region Elsass integrierte, die ich seit \u00fcber 20 Jahren so sehr sch\u00e4tze.\n\nUnter seiner Anleitung erlernte ich die Schulterchirurgie, insbesondere arthroskopische Techniken, sowie die Chirurgie der unteren Extremit\u00e4ten. J\u2019ai peu \u00e0 peu abandonn\u00e9 la chirurgie de l\u2019\u00e9paule pour ne pratiquer plus que la chirurgie du membre inf\u00e9rieur. Ainsi, j\u2019ai aujourd\u2019hui une forte sp\u00e9cialisation dans la chirurgie du pied mais je garde une activit\u00e9 volontaire dans le chirurgie proth\u00e9tique de la hanche et du genou ainsi qu\u2019en chirurgie arthroscopique du genou et de la cheville.
